Zero Day by Baldacci David

Zero Day is a thriller that tells us the story of John Puller, a military investigator from the US Army. The investigator is sent to a secluded area to investigate the brutal murder of an entire family. Will he be able to stand against the evil forces alone? Will he succeed in finding out the truth?

Summary of the Book

John Puller, the protagonist of the story, is the best military investigator that the US Army’s criminal investigative division has. When there is a family of Pentagon contractors have been murdered in their home, it is obvious that they pick John as the best person to go investigate. Puller is the son of a hyped marine engineer. His older brother used to be a military vet, but is now serving life sentence at Leavenworth Penitentiary. John lives a lonely life and is characterized by his determination to seek the truth. Upon reaching the crime scene, John learns that he is required to work with a local homicide detective, a woman who is working on the same case. They realize the complexities of the case and learn that the number of people whom they can trust in the small town is too few. They team up and decide to uncover every little secret that exists behind this murder.

He has a degree in Law from the University of Virginia School of Law. He was inducted into the International Crime Writing Hall of Fame.
