Brothers at War is the third book in the series, Empire of the Moghul. This book details the life of the Moghul emperor, Humayun.

Summary Of The Book

The story is set in Agra, in the year 1530. Humanyun’s father, Babur, has left him a legacy of wealth and glory, and a kingdom that spans a thousand miles south from the Khyber Pass. He could not be more fortunate as he has inherited such legacy.

He is now burdened with the task of taking the glory of his ancestors forward and adding to it.

What Humanyun does not know is that this inheritance has come with grave dangers to him and his kingdom. His half-brothers are eying his throne, and plots are being brewed against him. They doubt his ability to command the great empire and its armies, and whether he possesses the brutality for it all.

In no time, he is going to be engaged in a fierce battle. This battle is not for the glory but for existence. He has now got to protect his life, throne, and the very empire he rules.

Whether the doubts raised against him are actually true and what happens in the ensuing battle is a story to read as the novel unfolds.

Empire of the Moghul is a series of five books. This series details the lives of the great Moghul emperors and their conquests.
