This eighth edition of Corporate Finance contains a comprehensive overview on modern corporate finance, utilizing a number of contemporary examples to do so. This book contains an overview on corporate finance in the Indian subcontinent and highlights the differences, compared to that in the U.S.

At the end of each chapter, there are a number of Concept Questions, and Questions and Problems, which help the readers gauge their understanding of the concepts covered. The answers for these questions have also been included at the end of this book. About The Authors

Randolph W. Westerfield is an author and educator.

Westerfield has written Fundamentals of Corporate Finance.

Westerfield completed his undergraduate and post-graduate degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles, in Economics. He also completed his doctoral degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Los Angeles. Westerfield’s main areas of research interest lie in security analysis, valuation, corporate finance, and the behavior of security returns. He presently serves as the Dean Emeritus at the Marshall School of Business, University of Southern California.

Jeffrey Jaffe is an educator and author.

Jaffe completed his B.A., M.B.A, and doctoral degree from the University of Chicago. He currently serves as the Associate Professor of Finance at the Wharton School of Business. Jaffe has also been presented with the Outstanding Professor Award.

Stephen A. Ross is an author and professor.

Ross completed his undergraduate degree in Physics from CalTech, and went on to earn his doctoral degree from Harvard University in Economics. His main areas of research interest lie in the application of the Recovery Theorem. He has worked as a consultant for a number of investment banks and corporations. Ross has also served as the President of the American Finance Association in 1988.

Ram Kumar Kakani is an author and educator.

Kakani has authored How To Analyze Financial Statements, How To Read A Profit and Loss Statement, andHow To Read A Balance Sheet.

Kakani completed his engineering degree from A. U. College of Engineering, Andhra University, after which he obtained his doctoral degree in Management from IIM Calcutta. He currently holds the position of Visiting ICCR Chair Professor at the Lagos Business School.
